Portfolio Update Narrative
I’ve decided not to add more funds to this account so I can focus on building my main brokerage portfolio. Instead, this account will be allowed to grow on its own and continue serving as a live demonstration tool for educational purposes.
My last update was on April 26, 2025, when the account showed an unrealized gain of just 7.54% over five months. Fast forward to today, that return has grown to 29.01% in only 6.57 months—a solid jump in just over a month. Apart from market appreciation, the account also earned daily interest from idle cash and received a dividend from KLA on June 1st.
Lessons from the Market
Recently, fear has once again gripped the market—many investors sold at a loss due to concerns over tariff tensions involving Trump. Some even chose to stay on the sidelines, waiting for more “certainty.”
But the Segurista Stock Investing Strategy takes a different path.
Rather than being driven by fear or headlines, I stay focused on the fundamentals of the companies I own. When stock prices drop—not because the company is weak, but due to fear—I treat it as an opportunity, not a threat.
The best opportunities often appear when others are afraid. Remember:
